Bio

I’m Joe Barnett, a lifelong learner with a deep love for mathematics. As the founder of The Math Perimeter, my mission is to make advanced mathematical concepts more engaging and approachable for students, educators, and enthusiasts alike.

With Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Physics, as well as a Master of Science in Physics, I’ve spent years exploring the fundamental principles that govern the universe. My experience as a graduate teaching assistant has reinforced my belief that math and physics are not just subjects to be studied, they are languages that unlock the mysteries of the universe.

As someone, living with a disability, who understands the challenges of learning STEM subjects, I strive to create content that is accessible, engaging, and approachable to everyone. Whether you’re a student struggling with calculus, a teacher looking for new ways to explain mathematicss, or just someone curious about math, I’m here to help you navigate the journey.

When I’m not immersed in math or physics I enjoy engaging with the STEM community via various online forums and exploring new ways to make math more engaging and approachable. My goal is to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for mathematics.
